All of the Palo Santo used in Shaman's Dawn products comes from an organic farm in Ecuador who still practices the traditional ways of harvesting. Only wood from naturally fallen branches and from trees that have died naturally is used. No live wood is harvested. The traditional belief is that if the wood is harvested from a living tree that it loses its properties.
