Papa Legba is the Voodoo Loa of the crossroads between the spirit world and our own. Like Hecate is the gatekeeper, Papa Legba is the gatekeeper in the Voodoo tradition. His presence is revered this time of the year, as the veil between the spirit world and our physical earth plane is thinning, and the opportunity for communication is easier and more significant.
